There’s a special place in my heart for Avatar: The Last Airbender, and I know I’m not alone in that. I was a young adult when I stumbled upon the animated series on Nickelodeon, and my life was forever changed. Now that I’m firmly in my 30’s and seeing the world of Avatar return to our scene in a new way, I can’t help but be excited all over again. The world is rich and ripe for a live-action series, with sound playing a gigantic part in getting the show right. We spoke with Luke Gibleon, a sound designer from Formosa Group who brought the series to life!
