Mattel Unveils Spooktacular Monster High Collector Lineup at SDCC!
Monster High is once again embracing its spooky roots in spectacular fashion…or is it in spectacular fashion? Revealed just this past weekend at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), Mattel’s latest collector lineup brings together a hauntingly stylish mix of legendary movie monsters and horror icons, along with those fan-favorite Monster High themes, offering collectors one of the brand’s most ambitious releases yet.
Since its debut in 2010, Monster High has encouraged fans to celebrate individuality, embrace their unique style, and proudly stand out from the crowd. This franchise has truly shown that it’s okay to be “different” and that we shouldn’t hide ourselves away just because others might think so. That spirit remains at the heart of this newest collection, which transforms some of horror’s most recognizable legends into high-fashion collectibles, all through Monster High’s unmistakable design aesthetic.
Leading the lineup is a trio of Monster High x Universal Monsters dolls inspired by cinema’s most enduring, and dare I say iconic, creatures. Frankenstein, Dracula, and The Mummy each receive the Monster High treatment, blending the gothic legacy of Universal’s classic monster films with couture-inspired fashions, intricate accessories, and premium collector details that honor both franchises. As someone who grew up watching the classic Universal Monster films, I think these dolls are right up my alley and are exactly what my horror collection needs!

The scares continue with the latest additions to the popular Skullector series, which once again pays tribute to horror royalty from across the entertainment industry. This year’s collection welcomes the relentless Michael Myers, the mischievous Oogie Boogie from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, and the legendary Christmas demon Krampus, each reimagined with Monster High’s signature blend of eerie elegance and runway-worthy style. It feels like whatever horror franchise or story is your favorite, Mattel is making sure to have its (monster) bases covered!
However, if you’re a fan of classic Monster High, don’t fret! Mattel didn’t leave you out of the festivities either. The beloved Dawn of the Danc line of merchandise returns with Boo-riginal Creeproduction dolls, reviving one of the brand’s most memorable early themes with updated, collector-quality designs that celebrate Monster High’s fashion-forward heritage.
Rounding out the reveal is the Draculaura Halloween Edition Doll, giving one of the franchise’s most iconic characters a festive seasonal makeover that’s equal parts cute, creepy, and collector-worthy.
The 2026 San Diego Comic-Con reveal from Mattel showcases just how far the Monster High franchise has evolved while also staying true to the message that made it a phenomenon more than 15 years ago. By blending timeless horror icons with bold fashion, premium craftsmanship, and imaginative storytelling, the newest collector lineup offers something for lifelong Monster High fans, horror enthusiasts, and doll collectors alike.
Whether your shelves are already home to a growing Skullector collection or you’re looking to add a little monster magic to your display, this year’s lineup proves that Monster High continues to be one of the most creative forces in the world of collectible dolls. Stylish, spooky, and unapologetically unique, these new releases are poised to become some of the most sought-after collectibles of the year.
